Hi everyone, I'm new here. I heard about this site a while back but was a bit lazy about joining. I'm excited though as the name is very fitting - when I was a little girl I legitimately believed I was from some other world or planet. Lots of stories to tell there!

My name is Molly, I'm 20 years old and a college student. I'm currently on a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain but normally live and go to school in Saint Louis, Missouri. I'm studying English literature with a minor in film studies. Next spring I will graduate and move on to film school in Los Angeles. I hope to become a writer and film director and tell stories, especially some about the Asperger's experience. (At least all my films will have a bit of Aspie in them since they will be created by one...)

Besides dreaming about my future, I also enjoy reading and watching movies and TV, especially science fiction and fantasy. Some of my favorite series are Harry Potter and Doctor Who. I'm visiting London soon for my spring break and am excited to visit the land where these series were created.

Oh, and about my history with Asperger's, I was diagnosed by a psychiatrist when I was about 14 years old, just beginning high school. While it is difficult to deal with sometimes, I find it helpful when explaining to people how and why the way I am. I would really love to make some new friends who also have Asperger's (I don't really have any at the moment) especially those around my age.
