Well this feels weird starting on a new forum. I'm used to doing the welcoming on another social anxiety forum where I am a mod lol. Anyway, I just got diagnosed 2 days ago. I'm 18 years old now and I always thought my problem was social anxiety disorder (and it still is), but it appears that aspergers may have been the cause of my SA. I wonder why no one noticed it sooner. I am clumsy and not very coordinated and have weird attraction to inanimate objects (vacuums, japanese lucky cats, volkswagen beetles, WWII tanks, and other random things). I'm the one who found out that I had social anxiety disorder and a few months ago I suspected I may have had aspergers. It just goes to show you that people can easily fall through the cracks for a long time. Anyway, I think social anxiety is my biggest problem. Right now, my main goal is to make friends and get a girlfriend. I've never had friends really and never had a girlfriend.
