Hey everyone,
I would prefer not to disclose my real name but you may refer to me as AMB. I am 26 (soon to be 27) and I am a life-long Londoner. I was diagnosed with AS at the age of 8 (scares me a bit that this was nearly 20 years ago!). My condition does seem to be on the milder end of the spectrum. I think my main issues are anxiety, misreading non-verbal cues and having difficulty initiating conversations with strangers.
My interests include reading, music, history, films, politics, tennis and art. I have been aware of WP for some years now but have only now decided to join. I hope to learn more about how others are coping with being on the spectrum particularly in relation to work issues and just interacting with others in general.
