Hi,
I'm new here - really new - and I'm even kind of new at accepting that I am an "aspie" (not a term I knew about until a few days ago). I decided to join here because I hope to find people with the same inputs on perspective and generally on life as I sometimes have (hope that didn't sound too dreary). I'm still a little nervous about being here, even though I have been a part of online forums before. I guess it might be because I'm in the Asperger's community minority, being a female. I hope the girls aren't too outnumbered here. Anyway, I'm 14 and if you listen to the song "Jackie Blue," it will basically tell you all about me.

"Jackie Blue" by the Ozark Mountain Dardevils charted the same year as "Angie Baby" by Helen Reddy....both songs have striking similarities which connote AS.....you've just sent a chill down my spine.
