New to WP

Hello, I'm Courtenay Gleaton.

As you can see, I'm new here; I just joined WP last week. I "googled" Aspergers Syndrome, and this was one of the sites that came to the screen. Just out of curiosity, I checked out the site, and I loved what I saw. I knew it was perfect for me, since I was diagnosed with Aspergers when I was four years old (I am now 22).

A little about myself...

I am a female college student; I attend Midlands Technical College in Columbia, South Carolina and I expect to graduate by Fall 2007 with an associate degree in Office Systems Technology.

I am the oldest of four; I have 2 younger sisters (ages 20 and 19) and 1 younger brother (he's 17).

I drive my "dream car", a blue Volkswagon Beetle; my hobbies include photography and reading novels (especially by John Grisham and Michael Chricton).

Sorry if this post is a little long and hard to read; I'm new to chat rooms; I'm not totally familiar with them.

Anyway, I hope to meet a lot of people here; I don't know anyone personally with Aspergers where I live.

Wow, two women my age in a day. It has been a good day. Hello. I go to UW with an EE major but I think it might turn into COSC pretty soon. What is Office Systems about?

Welcome to the forum! I'm 36, and I just discovered my AS a month ago, so I was wondering if knowing all your life that you've had AS has made things easier for you than for somebody who grew up never knowing.
