Hi all,
Just landed so I thought it best to say 'hi' before finding a quiet corner to stow my gear.
I'm a late diagnosed Aspi so I have pottered through life oblivious to the fact that my major strengths (and weaknesses) were the product of being born on the planet Asperges. I'm 59 now, outlived two marriages and countless relationships and have four aspi kids plus two aspi grandkids. I'm a trainer with degrees in medicine and psychology as well as logistics (long story).
Because I never knew I had Asperges I spent my life shaping my world to suit me, although that was often a problem for my NT partners who often didn't get where I was coming from. Now, I'm single and have been for a few years, and it has been a relief, if I'm honest, in that I have had more time to explore my nature through the knowledge that I have Asperges.
Looking forward to reading through the forum and gleaning more insights
