Hi everyone

I'm new here.

I'm 25 years old, originally from the UK but have been residing in India for the last 8 months (I'm ethnically Indian but consider myself British first).

Although I am not formally diagnosed with Aspergers, over the years it has been suspected that I have it as I do possess quite a few Aspie traits. I guess it also helps having a mother who works a lot with autistic children, hence why it's been fairly easy to identify. She has encouraged me to get formally tested but I just see it as a waste of time. Maybe one day I will get tested but it won't happen soon.

I've never really given much thought to being an Aspie until quite recently so thought I'd just try and connect with people who understand the condition .

Hi Tequila, India is very different and there is too much noise if honest. I find that difficult to deal with sometimes. As for general life, on a day to day basis it is a lot easier and the weather is certainly better (except now as it's monsoon season) however I do miss home...
