Hello!!
I have decided to join this forum so as to gain support and companionship from other people with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Generally speaking, my interests are broad and varied.
My main interests include:
- Science and Technology (all areas of science)
- Animals (I am obsessed with birds!!)
- Architecture (traditional designs, and miniature models)
- Art and Design (experimenting with different art media)
- Music (piano/keyboard/programming; classical, film, alternative, electronic; and selected music from other genres)
- Movies (thriller, sci-fi, drama, documentaries, independent and foreign films, and others that interest me)
- Reading (mostly non-fiction related to my interests at the time, hobby magazines, selected novels, selected comics)
- Writing (journals, desire to write book/graphic novel)
- Education (teaching and therapy for children)
Above all, I love to research (anything that I am obsessed with at the time) and use my imagination (I have a very vivid imagination!!).
I feel like a child in an adult's body. 
Yes, I am "nice" and friendly by nature.
As is the case for the rest of you on these forums, I have had many life experiences that have been challenging but character-building.
Since I was a very young child, I have always been determined to overcome difficulties in my life, and I am a surprisingly optimistic person in general. I credit my family for this. I don't know where I would be otherwise. I have very high aspirations.
I look forward to meet you all online!

Welcome, from someone in approximately the same spot! It's good to know I'm not the only one bringing some positive vibes to the table on WP. You seem like someone I'd run into in my day-to-day, with luck that'll happen sometime!

Thank you. It is great to meet like-minded people!
This is the equivalent of a support group for me right now.
It is interesting to imagine who we may encounter in a typical day who may actually be on Wrong Planet without us being aware of it!!

Interesting to say the least. I'm pretty sure that's already happened with me, opening quite a lot of possibilities.
