First of all, before i continue my introduction; i want to tell my written english isn't fluent. I've made big improvement, but it's still a lot of work to do before my written skills are in a satisfying level. Though, my english reading apprehension is good. Due to, what i have described, i hope on your patience :) Thanks in advance!

I have been lurking around here for a while. It's a terrific place, Wrongplanet!

I have been assessed 3 times, every assessment has resulted in the conclusion i have some sort of ASD. 2 of 3 times, i've got Asperger Syndrome diagnosis, the third time they said i have Pervasive developmental disorder, not otherwise specified. What i have understood, PDD-NOS is similar to Asperger, but you don't qualify to a Asperger diagnosis, due to, you dont have enough traits/impairments according to the diagnostical manual to fullfil the requirement for an Asperger Syndrome diagnosis.

I, personally, don't see myself as a human being with a disability. Despite, the fact that other people in my surroundings think it's is strange that my need of social contact is really low, compared to themselves. But at my work, they don't look at me like this, instead they think i'm ambitious, due to i don't take any breaks, for example. I can't endure break's chitchat. It's impossible! It gives me the creeps!!

Right know, at this moment, i realise i need to finish this topic - and post it! I'm in a hurry. I have a scheduled time to my dentist. Wish me good luck!

Oh, i forgot to tell, i'm a 28-years old guy, living in northern europe.

Hi Zeli, welcome to WP!

No need to worry about your English, it looks good enough to survive on the Internet.

What sort of job do you have? And do your colleagues know the real reason why you don't take breaks or do they really see it as being ambitious?

Good luck at the dentist.

Welcome to the forum, Zeli.

Dental good wishes – I'll need them myself tomorrow!
