Hello Everyone,

Came across an article about Asperger's about a month ago, it immediately became my new "passion."

After I read that article it I spent the whole night researching it, had to tear myself away to go to class the next morning.

Finished Tony Attwood book a couple of days ago. It was an emotional read (feel crazy saying that about an educational book), it brought up a lot of bad memories as well as a lot "hey! that's me" moments.

Asked the GP about Asperger's today, probably one of the most stressful moments of my life. But I got a referral to a psychologist. I have a serious mix of excitement to be evaluated and fear that I might just be a weird NT. Crossing my fingers I get the correct diagnosis (whatever it may be).

Anyway, wanted to say Hello, this is website is great, and Aspie's seem like awesome people in general.

Don't be upset either way.

If you think you have Asperger's you should (and I hope you never hear these words in another context) get tested. IF you are, welcome. If not, you are just a weirdo (in other words you'd still fit in here)

This is good enough to be called a joke. Its like saying "I'm a surfer cause I like big waves".

At first I didn't like my diagnosis but it does give you a hint on your weakness.
