Hello everyone,

I am a 29 year old female who was just recently diagnosed with Aspergers. It has been a huge adjustment period and I am still trying to uderstand everything that comes with the diagnosis.
I have known all my life I was "different" than most kids, and parents and teachers would also often comment, but my parents never took notice. It is hard thinking I have lived all my life never knowing about this, and that my parents were to involved in their own lives to notice. I wonder what my childhood would have been like if I was taught the skills I needed, and still do.

Your parents never noticed?! Wow. How was that possible?

I'm glad you got diagnosed. Did it happen after a long time of trying to figure out what was going on and why you had problems?
