What's up? My name is 171NewYork. I won't tell you my real name, but I'm 14, and I live in Fair Lawn, NJ. It's nice to have a forum where I can talk to other people with my disease. Maybe I'll even make a freind in real life here! I have a crappy life, as I'm home-schooled due to behavior problems, and my parents trest em like crap, and I'm always depressed. I have trouble making freinds, and to make matters worse, a non-Aspie girl in town who I have a huge crush on recently dumped me. So, more about myself. My interests asre mass transit, politics, and baseball. It's in that order. I also love to go to New York City, which is only 35 minutes away by bus. Also, I have been called a troll and banned from many forums. I hope you don't do that here. I'm having enough problems as it is! Hell, I have to go all the way to NYC for a shrink! BUt I hope you welcome me here. This is a nice forum. So, I hope I'm welcomed here, and I hope I'm treated well here too. Bye!

Welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy it here, that I do.

I used to have trouble making friends when I used to go to a regular school. I only had one friend. Everyone else constantly made fun of me. Once during PE, everyone threw basketballs at me and the coach didn't do anything. He just stood there. Now I go to a better school, and almost everyone there is my friend.

I was banned from one forum just because I chose the name TB Samurai. Apparently, the admin of the forum was offended by it.

My interests are tuberculosis, dragons, video games, anime, samurai, art, and Japanese history.

Allo allo allo!

I'm homeschooled as well--I was VERY miserable with nearly everybody making fun of me for being unusual(I never did anything to provoke them--I was VERY quiet and reserved), and teachers didn't do much of anything. IMO, mainstream schools these days are in dire need of reevaluation by our society(But let's not even go there).

I hope you enjoy being here. I recently discovered this place myself, and am VERY happy for it :)

My interests involve videogames(Specifically the Metroid series--**points proudly to avatar**), Star Wars, animation, reading and drawing.

Welcome, 171NewYork.

I'm originally from Wayne, NJ, which is not very far away from where you live (around an 18 minute drive). I'm readily familar with Fair Lawn. Like you, I'm also very passionate about baseball. I'm a huge NY Yankees fan. I watch all of the games via an MLB.tv hookup to my television, read about the team during the offseason, and collect shirts and hats. I'm semi-interested in politics. E-mail or IM me sometime.
