Greetings.

I'm bad at introductions, so I'll make this brief. I have no idea if I have Asperger's or nor, or if I have Schizoid personality disorder, or if I'm just an eccentric NT, but I have enough idiosyncracies to warrant some introspection on the subject. Even if I'm just a wacky NT, I've deciced I like this place, so I'm going to hang around.

Here's a quick run-down of the entity known as CheckEngine:

I'm a 21 year-old female with gender identity disorder (FTM), even though that's a somewhat simplistic way of describing my relationship to gender. I'm a balanced-brain person, not too swift at math, and generally a smart-ass. I'm getting my A.A. in Liberal Arts from my local community college on May 11th, and I lack employment. My current obsessions include cartoons, stand-up comedy, Jungian psychology, police work, and gritty cop novels. In my spare time, I enjoy surfing the net, taking long, solitary walks, and reading. Oh, and I think mean people suck.

That's it for now, folks. I won't delve into the specifics of why I think I *may* have AS in this post; I'll save that for later discussions. This is just to say hi.

Hi there, nice to meet you. I'm FtM too, as well as currently exploring the possibility of having AS.

Are you aware of the Yahoo group - TransgenderPDD - it's focussed around people that are TG and on the Autistic spectrum.

This site is pretty damn friendly I've found.

No doubt I'll be seeing your posts around.

Welcome to the wrong planet(wheres the right one). You sound real interesting but please do not use big words with me. Iam not critisizing at all iam just terrible with spelling and knowing definitions. Anyways, sorry for rambling.

Compared to what I usually write, my introduction was brief. In real life, I rarely say anything to anybody. I'm much more comfortable with online communication.
