H E L L o, i´m Teluwgo. ッ

I have been diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. I also struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Social Phobia, OCD, Paranoia, and stuff like that. I have isolated myself for several years. I thought it might be a good idea to at least write on a forum.

I live in Sweden. My interests are music and films. I play guitar and write my own songs. My favorite color is purple.

We, the people on the Autistic Spectrum have a choice.
We can either try to "fit in" with the rest of society, or we can be so egocentric that we can't be bothered.
I choose the actor. I observe NT's. I listen to their socializing. I practice it, so in social situations I can just emulate/mimic what is expected.
It isn't natural for me, but it enables me to "fit in".
It is VERY tiring and draining, but at least we can appear like them even though it is an act. Like being on the stage.
They can't see it is emulation, and so we are accepted.

My avatar didn't actually have that much sentimental value. I just happend to stumble upon it. How embarrassing. I didn´t even know what a "Gir" was until afterwards. :wall:

I have stayed awake for an extra day now though and watched all of the episodes available of "Invader Zim" to make up for my mistake and I enjoyed it. :tired:
