Hi
I am new here.

I was diagnosed with Asperger last year. Basically, I do not have a support system or friends. Professionals are talking with me about developing a support system. That sounds like a good idea; however, it seems so hard. I would rather stay inside on my sofa than go out into the world. I know that I have to go out and meet people and do things.

Bye for now.

Sounds a lot like me. :)

Welcome to the forum.

A support system is a good idea, but feel free to do it at your own pace ... even if you do it really, really slowly – that's fine. You might also find it easier interacting with people online first. I was only diagnosed with AS last year, too, and getting to know people with ASD here was a good first step for me.

I have been diagnosed 3 years ago at 19. It explained a lot of problems I had ( not fitting in, no friends, bullying). This has not really changed, I do have panik attacks and not really any idea of what to do about it.

Welcome to the forums, I hope you can get the help you need. Just remember you can take it slow, to take your time in life. Good luck. :)

Thank you for your kind answer, I am not quite sure though what you mean with "my time in life" .
