When were you diagnosed? I haven't been, but my daughter was diagnosed this year.

Favorite subjects: In school: English, sociology In general: Everything. Jill of all trades, master of none.

Year/Grade: N/A

Favorite music: It depends on my mood. Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Tool, Johnny Cash, and Ramones

Books: Anything by Jane Austen, WOT series by Robert Jordan, vampire books, encyclopedias

TV shows/Movies: CSI (the original one), Super Troopers, The Fifth Element, Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, blah, blah, blah

Instrument: None. I tried playing saxophone when I was a kid, but my parents put it out of its misery.

Do you like sports? why? I used to play basketball and softball, because it was fun. Now, I like watching football and playing catch with my DH

Family: Husband and 2 daughters. Mother, step-father, sister and BIL. Grandmother. I don't talk to the rest of my family, they're as*holes.

Clothing: Mostly jeans and tank tops. I hate crew neck shirts and shirts with collars and turtlenecks.

Plans for the future? Never. The future will come whether I want it to or not, why mess with it.

Why are you here? I've been told 2 month ago that I have autism, probebly AS. Before that I was allways told that I was abused as a child.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I will be diagnosed in 7 month by the autisme centre in Leiden the Netherlands.

Favorite subjects: the behavior (thought patterns) that lead to suicide in teens.
(about 5 years ago I lost intrest because it doesn't seem to be possible to change the thought patterns. That is, they sometimes change spontaneous, but it doesn't seem to be possible to guide them.) At the moment I'm between subjects and miss not having something to analyse.

Year/Grade: This is which school you have done? HAVO. I don't know how that translate to the US system.

Favorite music: lots and lots, but I never know what they are called.

Books: My all time favoret is a book called The city and the stars, written by Arthur C. Clarke.
Mostly scifi written in the fifties of last century.

TV shows/Movies: CSI, BBC's Horizon. science shows.

Instrument: Played the guitar for a while 20 years ago, but I never got very far.

Do you like sports? I've fenced for years.

Family: my father is 76. my mother and sister died a few years back.
I see my cousins about ones a year.

Clothing: ? I were them. Is there any significant to clothing?

Job: I work at something called the "sociale werkvoorziening" in dutch. The translation site I found translates it with social employment. I'm not sure whether thats correct.

Favorite subjects: Languege, sciences, etc...

Favorite music: Varies from classical to hard rock.

Books: Mainly science, computer, language books, but I liked firestarter, one child, etc...

TV shows/Movies: Almost ANY SCIFI, etc.... Sliders, Star Trek, SG1,star gate, and ones like harry potter, firestarter, etc....

Instrument: I STARTED to get ok with the guitar and piano, but wasn't interested enough. 8-(

Do you like sports? Not really although, given a chance, I do wieghtlifting, bikeriding, etc...

Family: Mother and father that are currently about 3000 miles away. I have some cousins that are a few hundred miles away. I doubt any have AS or are autistic.
