Hello, I'm new to this website. I came here to meet like-minded people, who's ready to party?

I just realized nobody can see my awesome (but obscure), interests! I like glam metal, GNU/Linux, retro gaming, and old sci-fi flicks.

Welcome to WP!

And I agree that old Science Fiction films can sometimes be good and, even if not, sometimes still be interesting.

As far as partying goes...please keep the music volume low...unless I get to choose the music, of course!
For instance, I like Bach, or Bach, or Glass though I mostly listen to Roach and similar.
(I don't go to many live performances and when I have it was mostly Blue.)

What's your favorite sci-fi flick?

There are many I hold in high regard but, at the top:

<=>The Day the Earth Stood Still[ [1951]

But there are many others I also hold in high regard. Not just from the 50s.

How about you?

Difficult question. I have a lot of sci-fi flicks I love. When it comes to sci-fi films from the 20th century, I'd probably say that either "Demolition Man" (1993) or "Class of 1999" (1990) is my favorite. My favorite sci-fi film from the 21st century is probably "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" (2017)

Absolutely! I'd like to find some more good ones. I've seen the Star Wars movies, I used to watch the original StarTrek series, and I've been watching the original Battlestar Galactica. Do you know of any other good ones you think I should check out?
