Hi, I've been a lurker on ASD/Asperger's Syndrome communities for quite some time, having always been suspicious that I possessed some autistic traits. After much deliberation I finally got myself assessed and it was confirmed about a week ago that I have ASD/AS. The diagnosis didn't surprise me, but I had never felt confident enough in myself prior in order to let myself post in these forums. I feel better about that now, so I'm going to break out of my shell a bit and say hello.

I'm a 28 year old nerdy girl who loves video games way too much! I love online games most, like MMO's and things. I enjoy playing online with others, as I find it my more comfortable method of communicating. I also love art of all kinds and drawing has always been a hobby. Outside of that I'm a crazy cat lady and I love computers.

I'm hoping talking to others like myself will help me grow more confident and not feel so isolated with my struggles. I look forward to meeting all of you!
