Hello! My name is Acey (well, not really, but y'know). I'm 21 years old and an English major who loves reading, writing, and drawing and is obsessed with all things Homestuck, They Might Be Giants, and art. My biggest aspiration in life is to become a professional cartoonist specializing in comics!

I was formally diagnosed with Asperger's around the age of twelve. However, my parents knew there was something different about me pretty much since birth--for instance, I would get upset if anyone other than my mom held me, among many other things. Fortunately, they're both very supportive (it helps that my dad is on the spectrum as well), and thanks to the internet and fandom and such I have a lot of really great friends!

Hmm...how about some of my hobbies? Well, as I said, I love to read, write, and draw. I also play the ukulele and cosplay, but I'm not amazing at either of them, I'm afraid. Oh well--practice makes perfect, so they say!

Sorry for the late response...I kind of forgot I posted this! XD Thank you both for your warm welcomes.

Cathylynn, I've personally never been a New Yorker kind of gal, but I can definitely see the appeal. As for myself, some of my favorite comics (of all varieties) include Homestuck (my absolute favorite thing!), Life In Hell, Calvin And Hobbes, Kill Your Boyfriend, Neverwhere (still need to read the novel!), Dinosaur Comics, A Softer World, Hark! A Vagrant, and xkcd. I also plan on reading a bunch of other comics--namely Problem Sleuth (yes, I'm a Homestuck fan who never read PS--I should be ashamed of myself!), Gunnerkrigg Court, The Sandman, and Scott Pilgrim.
