Hello,
I am 39 with 2 kids 5y/o girl, 8 y/o boy. Myself and my daughter on high functioning autistics and my son is a non verbal low functioning autistic. My son was diagnosed at 2 years my daughter at 18 months and myself at 39. I was urged by my kids therapists to seek a diagnoses for myself because I was able to understand and relate to them in a way they couldn't understand.

Sounds like we have a lot in common, although sometimes I think my kids do better than I do.
Do you ever feel like you are low functioning?

I only feel perhaps I am low functioning when my 5 y/o daughter stumps me with a question....she is working on remedial calculus and learning to play the violin.
