Hi I'm new. just recently found the site and already feel at home. I'm still exploring the site to find out more. When I found out about my condition the first thing I thought was that everything finally made sense. all the "odd" experiences I had finaly made sense I hope to meet more people who feel just like me!

Tell us more. How did you find out about AS? How old are you? Which parts fit in?

i'm 21 and i live in south africa.
Well the thing is I haven't been diagnosed but based on everything that my parents have told me about myself when I was a baby - like the fact that I couldn't speak till I was older and the fact that i didn't have any interest in other children and would play by myself
I've always felt different and have always been treated differently by everyone around me. A few weeks ago i decided to do a little research and found out about this condition and the site

Yeah it was a breath of fresh air to see a label that fit. I'm still back tracking through my past, seeing what made me tick. Some is good and recently I have discovered things I did to try and fit in that make me wince now. Can't be undone. It was a live and learn deal back then. Made mistakes, got somethings right. It's all good. Welcome.
