Hiya,
I'm 35 chronologically, and probably around 17 emotionally - I was painfully withdrawn at School, and feel like I've spent the rest of my life trying to catch up.
I'm hoping that I'll get more of an insight into how to cope with life, and meet some people who see the world the way I do.
I had the pleasure to meet a Native American at a council meeting, during a break. We had something in common, it being alcohol. I remember a statement he made that made a lot of sense. When a person is finally aware of the problem, they are handed back to the Elders of the tribe to be reraised, their growth had been stunted. In some ways this doesn't really apply, in other ways I think it does. I'm still growing up, even at the age of 56.
Welcome to the tribe.
