I'm leaving WP

I'm not complaining or anything, but I want to leave WP because of these reasons:

I don't have anything in common with mostly everyone here.
Everytime I read a post about how to have good social skills, it's just nothing but random fluff instead of advice.
My posts aren't very popular.
I don't understand(or get) some of the topics here.
I'm not used to reading super-long posts here.

If you don't have AS, and that's what WP is all about, I guess you wouldn't find that much in common.
We're all crap at social skills, so this is probably the worse place to find anything useful on that front.

Sorry if I don't understand this, but why do you have to advertise the fact that you are leaving. If you don't feel comfortable here or you can't find what you want or need just don't sign on here any more.

I think that by telling others that you are leaving you want to see if anyone will care and try and stop you. Halloooo! It's an Aspie place. Do you think anyone, even if they do care they come out and say that???

This is not like a club where someone notes your presence or absense. Each is here because it's a place to feel between countrymen and countrywomen. We are all and each one here because we feel we share some common bond. Stay if you als feel that, go if you don't.

If you have AS, please stick with us. It is important that none of us with AS should feel excluded here. Even if you are different, tell us about it. There are people here that will celebrate your individuality. Also WP is about people from all backgrounds and all personalities coming together because of AS. We want you here because you give us a wider understanding of AS and therefore ourselves.

People with AS tend to feel desperate to find people exactly like them, it can be disapointing when this doesnt occur.

Don't be discouraged. Post away. Your thoughts are valued.

you weren't here when all of the churches sprang up. there was a chocolate, garlic, mustard, MTV haters ect. ect. church.
i rebelled by creating my own "church" which is a cardboard box. bob represents all of everything in this world.

Ah! It just sounds so... familiar. I joined the church of Orange. Possibly the last of the chunches with more than one member. Come to think of it, even that's gone quiet. Hang on... RYGBIV... yep. It's disappeared.
