Howdy all,

First off, I'm Brett, I'm 18, I live in Houston, Texas and I was recently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. I'm very interested in philosophy, specifically the application of it to politics and consitutional law. I also am an avid reader of pretty much anything, even if my main genres are fantasy and science fiction.

I love listening to music, in most shapes and forms. I also am a avid gamer, focusing mostly on role playing games such as Final Fantasy and other games such as World of Warcraft and Guitar Hero.

How are y'all doing?

You sound JUST like me! (except take out the interest in politics). I love gaming and reading, and I write too! (for personal benefit, I'm only 16, but funnily enough my story falls into the science-fantasy category!)

I'm so gaming savvy I moved my computer gear so that it'd sit on the desk next to my bed! (but I can't move the actual computer!)

Tim_Tex would be interested in you, I think he's from Houston too. Don't worry, he welcomes nearly every member. I however, am from NZ.

EDIT: Se? What did I tell you? Comes before I can finish my sentence!

Thanks Tim!

Glad to be here.

and that's awesome kbabz! I like to write a lot also. mine is more on the non-fiction side though. What kind of games do you play?

I have a monitor hooked up to my laptop next to my bed, while the main computer is hooked up in another room.

(funnily enough my name is also Tim. Plus, spell my username right (with capitals) and you get an award)

I usually slant towards Platforming games, such as Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter, but I also enjoy Racing (Jak X and Burnout) and action (Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King). Roleplaying games I find difficult to get into because I have to put in dedication to something I'm most likely uninterested in.

For bits and bobs of my story, read this, but if you can't read three pages of writing, don't expect to get far.

alright will do :P

Yeah I like action also. I used to play a lot of Real time strategy games, until I got WoW. that pretty much consumes whatever free time I have to play these days.

I'll go ahead and check your story out KBABZ.

Cool...the two games you mention first came with my ps2 that I recently got off ebay... not tried them yet, as have been on the Final Fantasy.

Ratchet and Clank involves creative weapons in a light-hearted area, and Jak and Daxter (if it's the first one) is a classic adventure Platformer.
