Hello everyone.

I have just discovered this forum (I can't believe I didn't know this existed!! !) and I wanted to join and introduce myself.

I'm a 28 year-old officially diagnosed Aspie who lives in Nashville, TN. I was diagnosed when I was 12, and I have been struggling to defy conventions ever since.

I have come to this forum for a community of people who know what the struggles of an Aspie are, and who can help with the aspects of my life that are still lacking. I feel like, oddly enough, my career life is going pretty well. However, there is still that gap. I have never had a serious romantic relationship, and I'm acutely aware of when I am the only virgin in the room. There are also the difficulties with social relationships that are constantly nagging me. Finding a community of people who can help with these struggles is my main goal, and from what I have seen so far, I have come to the right place.

I can't wait to meet all of you and get started on this forum!!
