Hello everyone,


My name is Amanda, I joined Wrong Planet so that I can find others to talk to and so that I can learn more coping skills for my autism and other disabilities. I also have other disabilities that I have been struggling with since my birth. My mom past away the end of last year, and I was hopping to connect with others whom would understand where I am coming from.

Being a logical thinker makes it harder for me to let my feelings just roll out. Instead I am more likely to think about things and then if my mind allows me too I will show feelings. Understanding body language and some speech patterns is not always easy for me. I get frustrated very easily and anxiety sets in more times than not.

Well then I'm glad you tracked us down. Sorry to read about your mom, I'm sure a lot of ladies here have been in your shoes too so I'll defer to them. For future reference, some users, unlike me log on pretty sporadically. Nonetheless, you should know that I've encounteered some very sharp medical minds on here and that you probably will too once you're settled in.

Thank you, I am looking forward to meeting them. Lately I have been keeping away from joining forums because I didn't think I was ready to talk about my mom and I was taking a break for awhile to grieve. I was searching online about relationships and autism, Wrong Planet was in the search results. I thought by looking more into it that I should join. I am liking what I see so far. The website is well put together, I think.

Sorry to hear that you lost your mom. I lost my dad just over 2 years ago so I understand how it feels to lose someone special in your life.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. cberg my cat's bread is very common you can even find them on cat food and cat letter labels. LOL. RoadRatt Thank you for your welcome. I am sorry to hear about your dad as will, and thank you for your understanding. cathylynn I do, and thank you for the welcome. I love writing poetry and creating art work using GIMP.

Dark Visions In The Night

Shadow's dance on these wall's,
my thought's are like crumbling paper,
crunching with every word
my mind makes up.

My breath becomes a labor
of time and passing thoughts,
that I scribbled onto my paper.

Time becomes like the moon,
soon nothing will be left
but shadow
and visions of last night's
dark plots and writes.

As always my muse passed away,
like a dark vision of blacks and gray's.

I love GIMP, space photomanips and iconography are really fun when I find the time for them.

Yeah they're ubiquitous but I love american shorthairs. Mine's named Kiwi and she's a pugnacious little bugger. She's vicious with mice and great with people.

I usually make logos and backgrounds with GIMP. I also like to mess around and see what unique things I can make with all it's setting, I also made brushes for GIMP, I am still thinking about going back to making them again.

I am a cat lover my favorite breed is Scottish Fold, they are so cute. Also not all scottish folds have the folded ears, it's like a birth defect or something. Also My Baby Boo is very skittish but once she gets to know you she's your lap buddy for life. My friend and I love sharing cute cat images through Google + and Hangouts. I also read a lot about them online and watch TV show's. My favorite cat show is My Cat From Hell, where the cat whisperer tries to teach the humans, it's not the cat's fault you don't understand cat language. Hahaha one of my obsessions use to be cat's so I guess I still have a little bit left in me. MEOW!
