Greetings from northern Minnesota.

I am 28 going on 29 where I am new to the whole Asperger Spectrum thing in that the longest time I was undiagnosed.

I didn't even know I had it until very recently. I also have dyslexia as well. In the next three weeks I am undergoing several state mental health evaluations. I am a bit nervous but looking forward to learning more about myself and the many problems I obviously have.

I think I've always knew that I've had problems it's just for the longest time I have lived in denial wanting to pretend that I didn't have any problems at all doing whatever I could to fit in.


I am a part time chef assistant at a luxury restaurant and a student. I am constantly trying to overcome many learning disabilities I have but despite having all of that I am quite intelligent which is extremely frustrating for me. I am a loner and have a great deal of problems socially interacting with others. I don't choose to be alone but rather I always come off strange, eccentric, and awkward in social groups.

We certainly all want to help you with whatever questions, concerns etc you have.
I came here because it is a lot easier to find people who are willing to talk and share here than in real life. Plus you dont see us face to face everyday, so it is easier to lay itall on the line.
I am highly functioning, so most people dont see me as too awkward, but I am the funny guy that no one goes out of their way to include in social stuff.
I have two Aspy kids and a neurotypicl (NT) Wife who helps me a lot. I hope you have family, friends or associates who can help you. If not feel free to post at WP or PM me or whatever. We got to stick together, right?
