I've looked at a lot of other introduction posts to try to figure out what to say to introduce myself, but I figure I'll just do it.
I'm Amy (but I don't expect anyone to remember that, so I'll go by Mono, as in Monochrome)!
I was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD when I was 7. I was in speech therapy and Special Education classes for mathematics and reading throughout school, but in "regular" classes for everything else.
My interests are comic books (Marvel X-Men books like Uncanny X-Men, X-Force, etc. mostly) and collecting action figures of characters from them, video games, photography, training my dog (a 2 year old miniature pinscher rescue that I got in July), and music (all kinds, including rap and country)! I like to play Minecraft on the Autcraft server, and World of Warcraft. My favorite X-Men character is Angel or Archangel from X-Men, followed by Psylocke, Nightcrawler, and Pixie.
My favorite movies are the X-Men films even though they don't follow comics canon at all, The Secret of NIMH and other Don Bluth movies, Avatar (James Cameron's), The Avengers movies and related like Iron Man and Thor, The Brave Little Toaster, The Lion King (all of them, plus the new show The Lion Guard), and Batteries Not Included.
I like taking pictures and family members have called me "the paparazzi" because I take a lot of pictures of "nothing", like landscapes and clouds, though I don't consider it to be nothing, and it takes a few tries sometimes to get a picture that isn't blurry, so there is a reason that I take multiple.
For music I listen to pop, indie, metal, bluegrass, and other genres. I don't like every artist, but I like specific things from most genres that I've heard. I also like to sing but I don't know if I'm good at it.
