Hi all I am mum of 2 31 from Scotland, my oldest boy has just been diagnosed with asd* I have known there was something since 2.5 .... Just wanted to introduce myself.. Trying to chat to other parents like myself

I don't have kids, but I just wanted to welcome you to WP!
I'm 25 and I'm not officially diagnosed with ASD but, let's say, almost... I guess you must be lost so, if you need any help, I'm sure you'll find it in this forum! Welcome!!

Welcome to WP. I hope we can help and encourage you.

Are you or your spouse diagnosed also?

I have Aspergers as do my 16 year old daughter and 12 year old son. My daughter has a 17 year old boyfriend who is also an Aspie.

I hope we can help you, know that you are not alone and I hope that you can help your children be comfortable with themselves as they grow up. Many of us were not diagnosed until later in life and that is kind of hard.
