I always liked this forum and some of your posts were immensely helpful. I have never been able to relate to anyone before reading some of your posts, no matter how happy or sad they were. Thank you for posting your experiences. My name is Lorraine. I am 34 y/o recently officially diagnosed. I got the O fficial diagnosis through the state. voc. rehab office's recommended psychologist. Very happy about that. I am struggling to get a job and live independently. I've worked a lot of different jobs, all for a few weeks to a few months. Longest job held was for 4 years. I have never lived independently. I am always made fun of and tormented by supposed normal people. Many people are just evil in my opinion. I was in an emotionally abusive relationship with an alcoholic for 10 years. I was a pretty sex object for him and when he found something better he moved on or never loved me in the first place - not sure. I have no friends now, they've quietly let me know they outgrew the relationship. In my spare time I normally watch TV or listen to music, dance pop trance techno freestyle and rock music. I used to draw and write but haven't in a long time.

Rave music & the good people who keep it alive have been a longstanding obsession of mine. As I've prefaced my messages with before; no harm in sharing my Soundcloud!

I try to read the intros, but dont always have time. I came here because I have trouble finding people with Aspergers in real life who want to talk.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad relationship. My life has kind of been hurt by alcohol. My dad was an alcoholic and my parents separated then divorced when I was 4-5. My sister was an alcoholic and she died about 13 years ago.

I dont know if you have any issues or troubles because of your diagnosis, but if you do please share them with us and let us try to support you. No one should have to feel like they have to do it on their own.

we have an entire active section for such pursuits like drawing and writing, what would you say your writing is like? (myself, i'm more of a visual artist...pencils, water soluble pastels and the like).
