Hi everyone! I'm looking for some new friends! My name is Rosalie, I'm 23 and I'm from Manchester, UK. I have Asperger's syndrome and I am a scuba diver. I like to make really close connections with people where you can talk about all the deep stuff in life and feel comfortable telling each other personal stuff because I can't do small talk. I already have friends in the real world but I would like to make some Aspie/autistic friends on here. Thanks for reading! <3

Welcome Rosalie, I prefer the more serious conversations as well for the same reason.

Scuba diving sounds like fun, can you do that around England?

Hi Andyfzr! I live in South Manchester too! What do you do for fun in Manchester? I'm a bit bored with my life and need new things to do...

ErwinNL, yes, I scuba dive all around the UK and abroad, too. Sometimes I just snorkel or float around in the sea in my drysuit if I can't be bothered carrying my equipment. I go to some really beautiful places. What are your hobbies?

HI Rosalie, I rockclimb and do a bit of walking and camping. I live just on the border of High Peak so this is perfect for doing just those things although I haven't been doing much lately for similar reasons, bordom and depression but then again I've never been a winter person. I used to be big into motorbikes but not had one for a couple of years now but I hope to get another by the summer. I think I'm just drawn to anything involving danger and adrenaline plus the climbing keeps you super fit as well as being good fun.

First rule to creating relationships where you can discuss the deeper meaning behind life.

Don't use words like "friend".

"Friends" are to be collected numerically and published on one's facebook page for all and sundry to observe.

To what purpose this serves I'm still not completely certain.

All I know is that I have no friends only relationships whose purpose and function is well articulated.

Customer

student

wife

son.

I am very clear as to the nature of these relationships and what is expected from me in them

As to "fellow traveller in confusion" this kind of relationship I seek but have not found and perhaps never will.
