Hi

I used to be an active member of wrong planet - until a mental breakdown led to loss of career and three admissions to the psych ward.

I left hospital with a duel diagnosis of aspergers and schizoaffective disorder. I'm now on clozapine.

I'd be interested to know how many other Aspies have a duel diagnosis - esp. Pyshiciatric

Thanks

Inuit

I was diagnosed with both Aspergers and ADHD and even though I exhibit behaviour of both conditions I keep reading that they aren't normally co-morbid, I've been stuck on Seroxat (Paxil) for over 6 years to manage my anxiety but there's no help here medically for either condition as an adult.

You might ask a moderator to move this to the General Autism Forum, it would get more replies there. :)

I believe that Asperger's and Co-morbid conditions pretty much go hand in hand. I myself have several: anxiety, depression, social anxiety and agoraphobia. I'm a mixed nut! :geek:
