Welcome to WP! What sorts of books do you like?
Well I most certainly have a penchant towards the idea of "Philosophical fiction", your
La Nausée's, your
Brave New World's, your
The Fountainhead's ... you get the gist I'm sure, but don't confine myself to purely this kind of fiction. For instance, I greatly admire authors such as J.G.Ballard, Philip K Dick, and Anthony Burgess - I mean, come on,
A Clockwork Orange is the archetype of good fiction - which, I believe, would place me in the science fiction lover's category also.
Regarding purely philosophical works ... I don't feel I could accurately gauge any kind of preference - my reading so far in the field is by no means extensive, but greatly admired the stack of Kierkegaard I've been through, Rousseau too has enticed my interest, and am soon moving on to Kant.
EDIT: My oh my, why is it I always miss what's right in front of me - or in this case the my obvious favourite author[s]. Franz Kafka! Of course! And I also adore Murakami's works too.

It's as if I'm standing on a platform, alone, watching this chaos going on, picking out what I can from the residual matter left behind.
