I joined ages ago but never posted, and completely forgot until I tried to register only to find I already had an account...

I'm a 21 year old girl with Asperger's. I like anime, cats and physics. Also cosplay. And scifi. And books in general (does anyone else smell books?).

So uhh...hi.

Howdy there,

Indeed book smell is delightful!

Can you list some favourite authors of yours?

I just wondered if people actually sniff books on purpose, or just like the smell of books.

That's funny, because someone I know was telling me she does that the other day. Loves to read. I used to, also, but it's been awhile since I had a new book.

Anyway, hi PoppyK :)

Yes, smelling them on purpose. I love the smell of hardback books.

My favourite authors depend on the medium. I love graphic novels and some of my favourite authors are Ed Brubaker and Jeph Loeb.

For more traditional books, I've recently enjoyed some Murakami works.

Cats and sci fi go well together. Just duck when the lasers blast out of their curious eyes when you forget to fill the treat bowl up.
