Please keep in mind that the information posted here deals with real people, peope do not post information about their personal problems for the entertainment of others, and people here take that seriously. Almost nobody here is an exhibitionist. I understand that such research can be benificial if done properly. However, as you have already seen, many members are alredy nervous about the prospect of people eavesdropping for their own agendas. If you intend to use any of our posts for research material and reports, it would be best if those concerned here were notified and had some say in how the information is used.

You say you are doing a psych major, it seems to me that you would be using us for your 'education'.

From the way you write, I have to ask, do you have or suspect a condition in yourself?

I think you should name your friend.

in response to the quesiton of rahter or not i think i have a disorder why yes i do i have a couple but what i have was not covered on the list of aviblie options....for instance i am eymplipitic

i also have issues with depression

iunderstand there have been issues with lurkers coming in and taking advanatage of this site for unethical reasons....that is not me and i really do wish i would be given a chance.

Unfortunately for you, there have been a number of psych majors before you on many people's AS sites analyzing people under a microscope just for a good grade. Hopefully these fears are unfounded and you will be vindicated by time.

thank you Sean.....i know there are alot of unethical types in the psychciatricit community ....those bad apples are not repentivite of the community at large

Meh, these guys should stop worrying. You aren't a psych major, or you'd know how to spell epileptic and psychiatrist.
