Recently diagnosed with Asperger's at 30 years old, I heard about the forum and thought it was worth a try. So here I am.

I saw an article link to a blog about females with aspergers and the author mentioned her daughter uses this forum. I can't remember which blog it was though. Thanks for the welcome :)

I was doing research for one of my daughters and as I was reading all the information I found it was like looking at a mirror in a lot of ways so I decided to investigate further. As for how I felt, it was kind of a relief to know there's an explanation for my social awkwardness among other things when dealing with people. Now I don't feel as pressured to assimilate into the normal world with the rest of the NTs. :D

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. :) I have many varying interests; music (I play a few instruments) books, movies, the sciences, world politics, history, the paranormal, and in general, anything that is considered "fringe".

What instruments do you play? I play a rare instrument called a 'Hang', it a percussion instrument, very hypnotic :)
