Hi, I only just joined a forum a few days ago.
I got diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (I personally prefer Aspergers but they don't use it for diagnosis anymore..) when I was 25, which was both a relief and a worry. I always thought I'm 'normal' and the struggles I've been having were more or less the same as anyone else's. Well, that wasn't a case at all and in fact it seems that my whole life was a lie :D Especially after reading https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Autistic_Survival_Guide .
On a positive note, there are a lot of strenghts to embrace which I still have to work on.

Glad I found this forum, but I'm not sure if I can manage to post often.

Thanks for letting me be here :)

Hi. Good to see you. I'm new here myself although I did lurk for a while. Found I could relate to what people were posting. First time in a forum where I feel I can actually contribute :)

enjoy...
