Hello.
OK, here goes...
I'm 45 years old. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have one wife, one cat, no children. I write code for a living (and by "write" I mean "throw it at a wall and see what sticks").
I have various traits that lead me to think I might be on the autistic spectrum (social anxiety, tics, mild depression, OCD, repetitive behaviours). I spent my whole life thinking I was just weird/unlucky/useless. Then, a few months ago, I found a link to Wrong Planet on a technical forum. Since then I've been referred to a psychiatrist for diagnosis by my doctor, who was very helpful and knew a lot about Aspergers/autism. Now I'm just waiting for them to write to me.
Of course, I may actually just be weird/unlucky/useless
We'll see.
