Hi,
I'm new here and have Nonverbal Learning Disability. Does anyone else have that? It's not an official diagnosis, but a measure of things.
Best,

Never been suggested by a professional(they are not intelligent enough to see beyond the psychiatric stuff) but I fit that better,I believe, than ASD.

I believe I have ADHD and anxiety my whole life. I am about to be 28 so hope the time line makes sense. In kindergarten I was diagnosed/ given label with pdd. Because of how I developed in first grade I was given the non verbal label.

The way it is treated or supposed to be treated is a mild form of aspergers when I was growing up. Problem was I was misdiagnosed my whole life and didn't find out I " more than likely " have had ADHD and anxiety my whole life.

To sum it up doesn't matter what you have if people around you don't understand it. It isn't anyone's fault that we don't fit into mainstream so it's our job to get help to fit in

I think I've non-verbally acquired the skills to blag my way through most of life.. but not enough to throw a tea party on a mid terrace balcony.
