Hello, this is my first post here.

I'm in the UK, diagnosed ASC, 45yo, atypical female.

The best thing in the whole of creation is cats; other things I like include sci fi/fantasy DVD series, walking locally, and knowing other unusual people. And reading. Much reading.

I'm hoping to find autistic community here. I do have it elsewhere online and IRL, but I recently left an unhealthy but busy forum and need more online contact and activity.

I'm not working due to complex disabilities, but I do volunteer.

Anyway, I better go feed my cats, as 6pm has somehow passed while I've been working out how to use these forums and where to start.

Welcome to Wrong Planet. The best cat I ever owned was a Maine-Coon. It had six claws on each hand instead of five. It had a wonderful disposition. Utterly fearless and very gentle. Sometimes they are called Hemingway cats because Earnest Hemingway had many of these.
