Blazingstar, that sounds like a nightmare situation! I was lucky enough to get treatment-- actually, a lot of it. The reason I didn't get labeled "Asperger's" (which is what it was called when I was in high school) was that my meltdowns were so terrible that they had to get me out of public school. When I got back ("mainstreamed" I guess is the word?) the focus was on preventing me from relapsing to that older state. There wasn't a lot of, "let's make sure Lost Bread has the skills to thrive after school". It was more like, "let's save our butts and hope that this Lost Bread kid doesn't get us sued".
