I'm 32 and originally from Nevada but now living in Georgia. I've been diagnosed with mild Asperger's 2012 in Vegas and I haven't really had much support from family to learn coping skills outside of them yelling at me and telling me what a failure I am whenever I do something that was out of social norms (which was why I moved).

I've recently lost a job due to issues partially regarding Asperger's, and partially regarding my physical chronic illness (Crohn's) and I'm currently seeking treatment for stress management and Asperger's coping skills. I was recommended to come to this board to meet others like me.

So hi.

Welcome to WP

I know what its like to have mild Asperger's but still get things wrong socially. Shame your family aren't more tolerant
