I've always been slow with English and especially spelling can tell sometimes when it is spelled wrong but can't tell very often how to correct it.My question is do other autism people have the same trait. Thanks

I read at about half speed of most people, despite that I have read and read a LOT.
Up til maybe 10 years of age I had massive problems reading and writing but it gradually got better, at 20 I was about average when it came to spelling and grammar. Now at 51 I am pretty good at it, but it has taken a ton of practice!

Reading speed is the biggest problem for me too. I have a large vocabulary but often have the same spelling problem. It can look wrong but I don't know how to correct the spelling.
