Having been diagnosed with Autism in high school and been on what I consider to be a learning curve concerning the disorder ever since, I have a sincere interest in learning as much as I can about Autism and hopefully sharing my knowledge with others through my blog... The Anxious Autistic. I joined this forum as a way of making connections and learning about Autism. As a person, I love reading and creative writing. My blog provides a creative outlet for my love of writing and with my blog I hope to raise awareness and educate others about this disorder. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as hiking and bicycling. I am happily married to a wonderful man and he and I enjoy playing games and going for hikes together. I would love to find other individuals who are seeking to learn more about Autism and perhaps find some new and interesting topics to cover in my blog regarding Autism. If you have any ideas on topics I might research and write about on my blog, please let me know! Also, I'd love to hear some perspectives on life with Autism and get to know some others on the forum. Thanks for checking out my post and I look forward to connecting! ~Punchrocker17

Welcome to Wrong Planet.

Blog topic - Once you were diagnosed as Autistic, what type of therapy or accommodations (such as home schooling) did you undergo and was it effective?

Welcome to WP. This is a great place to learn about ASD. Aspie's weren't being diagnosed until I was long out of school. However, I had read about Asperger in college and always suspected I had AS. I only recently self diagnosed and learned all I could about ASD.
