I'm not from Texas, but there are some Texans here on WP.

It's nice to see some people, here on WP, mentioning their general geographic locations when they introduce themselves. In my opinion, it would be nice if more of us did that (while keeping it vague enough to protect their online privacy, of course). That's a necessary first step for those of us who would like to make friends with other people here on WP.

Anyhow, if you have not done so already, you might want to Google "Autism Society Texas" or "Autism Society ______" [name of nearest major city] or "autistic adult support group Texas" to see if there are any in-person support groups for adults on the autism spectrum near you.
