Wow, I made this account seven years ago. I used to be very active on this site as a 13-year-old.

I had great experiences here, and I'm in need of autistic connections again. I'm feeling alienated once more lately as I used to growing up. I wish I had autistic friends; I always felt such an intense sense of belonging with other autistics, which is something I only faintly get with some others usually.

Speaking of "alienation," I actually got an autism-related tattoo encompassing the feeling of being different and alone, but also representing clarity and community with the diagnosis. Here's a picture of it.

I've been feeling especially exhausted lately, and I think that's when I start to struggle the most with being autistic because it becomes harder to keep up with the non-autistic dynamic in the world. I just want autistic friends who understand me and relate to me and just feel so much more similar to me than pretty much anyone else.

Anyway, hello, I'm Serena, I'm 20 and I like making art and watching cartoons.

I also got some autism ink :lol: it was related to my old user name but it will always remind me of Wrong Planet and my friends here. :D

That's way cooler than what I pictured before the image loaded! Cool to see you're back. :)

I kind of wanted some such tattoo but I guess I just haven't come up with anything that makes sense for me yet.
