Shalom y'all.
I joined a little while ago and just started posting recently because I was a bit nervous. For some reason I never checked this section until a few days ago. So I thought maybe I should properly introduce myself.
I just turned 37 and was diagnosed with Autism this past year. I moved home some time ago to be my mom's caregiver when she became sick. So most of my time is spent at home with my mom and 2 lovely furbabies. Appa who is 9 and is a great pyreenes/ german shepherd mix. And Aria who is 2 and my mom's service dog is a German shepard/ malinois mix.
I'm in the process of learning to become a service dog trainer, which has become my passion and my new purpose in life.
I enjoy anime (especially One Piece), baking, quilting, music of all kinds ( depending on my mood), reading ( especially detective, adventure, and science fiction ), camping and hiking, and martial arts.
Just as others have said, not sure what I want to get out being on here. I think I'm just trying to understand myself better and hopefully connect with others who have had similar experiences and struggles.
