Hi team,

I was on here briefly last year and decided to show up again. I don't know how long I'll stick around but the pandemic fatigue is getting to me a little and I suppose I needed an understanding social outlet.

I'm happily married to a possible ASD person (we refer to each other as "my favorite alien") and I was diagnosed two years ago with "ASD, formerly known as Asperger's syndrome."

I have managed to find a successful workplace niche and consider myself fortunate to have found a very understanding boss to work for as well. I have a very spotty work history and have dropped out of grad school three times but I finally got a permanent job with benefits ... Last week!

Anyway, glad to be here, and ask me anything you'd like.

Welcome to WP! I think you will find some relief from pandemic fatigue here...and maybe you'll keep visiting after the pandemic is under better control.

And that's great that you've found a good workplace niche! I really am double-retired but getting there involved a lot of perseverance and far less happiness than I wished for. But, being retired is great so keep your eye on the goal and good luck! :thumright:
