Hi, I'm new--well, sort of. I'm 56 and pretty well-worn in most respects. I first heard of Asperger's about 2 years ago, and it's helped me understand who I am and accept my peculiarities. That understanding, and a dose of Cognitive Therapy (a MUST for depressed Aspies, in my opinion), and I'm finally free of lifelong chronic depression. Life is good. I'm looking forward to comparing notes with others and learning more about them and myself. Good to be here!

Welcome! I'm glad you did something to help you with your depression. My son has AS and battling depression is something we do on a daily basis.
