New guy here. Been on the autism forums for a while, looking for new horizons.

Got dxed september last year after losing a receptionnist job.

Point is, meeting new folks with a similar mentality would be great.

Had to change careers from film making to watch making and currently on a '0' in life, with legal problems, last band (nu metal - I sing) failed, losing thousands worth of money, chronic unemployment with burnout, living above a bar because can't move out and my only hope (seriously) is the local invalidity insurance accepting me so they can finance my entire future and actually càn make that career change and coaching assistance while trying to not lose against depression.

Since today, there is a prospect of employment as a telephonist for solar panels in a month.

Hello everyone! I'm new here and it's great to be part of these forums. Reading most of them gave me a shock based on how similar my life is to them. I'll try to be as active on here as possible and give my life's perspective for this online community.

You talked about your life and how you got to this point.
You are part of the world of NDs (Neurodiverse). We are very different then NTs (Neurotypical).
Generally we have a different skill set. In some areas we are very advanced and in other areas we are broken.
Many of us are loners. We grow and develop better when we work alone. For example, there are people in a large store that greet people and communicate and provide support. But we are more like workers that perform functions in the back rooms. We do a lot of work but not directly with the customers. So if this is a good description of your traits, then find a career path that allows you to advance. But make sure that what you are selling is a good product and not a rip off.
